We help international students prepare for a change to a work-related status of residence, checking their educational background and intended job duties with them and their employer.

Yes. Consultations are a service in their own right. You can discuss your questions, preparation and options while handling the application yourself. You do not need to use our application services or sign an ongoing contract. Each session is booked separately; after the free initial session, the consultation type and fee are agreed before you book. Document drafting, submission, extensive review and specialist research are separately scoped and quoted.
Yes. Your first 20-minute online consultation is free. We discuss your situation, the broad direction and how we can help. You can request an application quote directly. Longer consultations are optional, with the scope and fee agreed in advance.
An individual consultation focuses on your current questions and practical next steps: 60 minutes for JPY 11,000. Long-term planning explores your future work and life in Japan, considering your priorities, residence status and options: 60 minutes for JPY 16,500. Both include tax. Long-term planning is a single session; ongoing support, application work, extensive document review and specialist research are quoted separately.
Routine checks and corrections within the agreed scope are included. We do not charge extra simply because our time estimate was exceeded. If you request a new procedure or additional scope, we explain the work and price and obtain your agreement before starting. Agreed expenses are accounted for separately.
Optional accompaniment is JPY 55,000 including tax, plus expenses, for one visit and purpose with up to four total hours of preparation, round-trip travel, waiting and on-site work. Longer visits, multiple visits or mandatory counter procedures are quoted in advance.
A standard work-eligibility certificate for a job change is JPY 110,000. It is proposed only when appropriate; it is not compulsory for every job change. Straightforward personal affiliation-notification support is JPY 22,000, but one necessary related set of notifications is already included in the standard job-change renewal or certificate fee.
An eligible comprehensive permission for activities outside the current status, requested together with a qualifying main application, is an additional JPY 11,000. Standalone or individual permissions are quoted separately. All figures include tax; expenses are extra.
For a direct engagement on the same matter within 30 days, one paid consultation fee is credited at the amount actually paid. Eligible services are standard Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services renewals (including changed duties or employer), Student-to-work changes, COE applications and job-change work-eligibility certificates. One individual consultation (JPY 11,000) or one long-term planning consultation (JPY 16,500) may qualify under these conditions. Earlier payments are credited at the amount actually paid. Expenses are separate. Marketplace engagements follow their listing terms.
